About Living is specialized in construction and renovation of high-quality properties for owners and investors. Besides project management the company sells high quality furniture and accessories. In a first step Odoo was implemented in the shop area using Odoo Point of Sale, Reporting and Inventory with the standard Barcode integration. 

Finally the idea is to implement Odoo in all business areas. Thanks to Odoo all in one, all company activities can be supported with one software. A next step could be to improve online sales, marketing, purchasing or project management with Odoo standard functionalities.

1. Major Requirements

  1. Full and on-time transparency about the inventory and actual sales of the shop

  2. Everything should go easy and not too much time consuming with a complete barcode integration

  3. The system should be manageable everywhere especially in regard to reporting and sales

2. Odoo Implementation

  1. Standard Odoo modules Point of Sales, Sales and Inventory with barcode integration were installed

  2. The whole process was set-up including the equipment necessary for PoS, cash and printer 

  3. After a comprehensive training the inventory was set-up into the system

  4. With the go-life of the PoS System afterwards the 1st step of the project was finalized

3. Results

  1. All system requirements could be fulfilled by Odoo and system was implemented in 2 month, including 6 weeks of only stock taking 

  2. Immediate support with questions or further use of the system could be given

  3. Inexpensive solution, because Odoo standard could be used and Odoo has no license cost

  4. Satisfied client ready to go into a further integration of Odoo functions
