Challenge

Bmax USA LLC is a subsidiary of the I-Pulse Group. While another subsidiary, I Cube Research, had already implemented Odoo, the group decided to extend the system further. The main challenge was that Bmax followed different business processes compared to other subsidiaries, and there were no standardized group-wide processes in Odoo. In addition, the company’s locations operated across different continents and time zones, which complicated communication. There were also numerous group-level accounting requirements involving complex approval processes that had to be addressed.

Solution

As part of the BOP Alliance, OBS Solutions managed the project together with our French BOP partner. We reviewed Bmax’s processes and reconfigured the Odoo system accordingly. This allowed us to adapt global requirements to the local setup and provide tailored training for the teams. Particularly in discussions about which products and contacts should be managed globally, Bmax benefited from the international expertise and experience of OBS Solutions.

Business Benefits

Processes have been standardized, collaboration across continents has improved, and visibility into group-wide information has been significantly enhanced.
