Pickert was looking for a complete business software solution. Their old software offered only accounting functions and couldn‘t map other areas well. After a workshop, Pickert was convinced to go with Odoo as their new software and OBS Solutions was selected for the implementation. After the project assessment, a new requirement was added: Pickert wanted to split the then-sole company into several companies and manage them in one system.
Pickert & Partner GmbH is a successful ISO-certified QM software manufacturer. Pickert is the first point of contact for SMEs in the metal and plastics industry, specializing in discrete manufacturing.
The first implementation went live after about half a year with a focus on accounting. The system included CRM, sales, and accounting functions with multi-client capability. Adaptations were made to the initial implementation in the sales area with individual designs of the subscription management process. Later, adjustments were made in the helpdesk area with a ticket system design. With the business splitting into several companies, the multi-client capability of Odoo came into play as a great advantage.
The excellent multi-client capability allowed Pickert to integrate multiple companies into their Odoo system and manage them in one system. The fields that are now unused will be eliminated during the upgrade, making the system leaner and significantly reducing error-proneness.
