Ten years ago, OBS Solutions didn't have a large office, a growing team or an international presence. We had an idea, a laptop, countless cold calls and the belief that ERP projects could be delivered differently.
In 2015, everything started with a resignation letter and the courage to build something from scratch. The first customer conversations took place in an industrial estate in Palma de Mallorca. Every project had to be earned. Every customer had to trust a company that no one knew yet.
From Startup to Odoo Gold Partner: The Early Years
By early 2016, the first customers had successfully gone live with Odoo. In July 2016, OBS Solutions GmbH was officially founded. Our philosophy was simple: deliver quality, build long-term partnerships and put customer success first.
That approach quickly paid off. Within a year, OBS had achieved Odoo Silver Partner status in Germany, followed shortly by Odoo Gold Partner – proof that sustainable growth comes from consistent execution rather than shortcuts.
International Growth: OBS Solutions Across Europe and the US
Along the way, the work spoke for itself. Growth didn't stay local for long.
In 2019, OBS opened its first international office in Switzerland and was honoured as Best Odoo Partner Europe – recognition that meant a great deal to a team that had built everything from scratch. Offices in the USA, Belgium, the Netherlands and Austria followed. In 2021, we moved into our headquarters at the Biggeschlösschen in Olpe, Germany – a place that represents both our roots and our ambitions.
One year later, in 2022, we co-founded the BOP Alliance, a global network of leading Odoo partners dedicated to delivering complex, multinational ERP implementations. A milestone that would have seemed unimaginable back in 2015.
By 2025, OBS had reached the title of No. 1 Odoo Partner in Germany. Most recently, in 2026, OBS Switzerland achieved Odoo Gold Partner status – the latest milestone in a story that continues to evolve.
The Future of Odoo Implementation: OBS AI and Agenda 2030
Ten years in, OBS Solutions is no longer just an Odoo implementation partner. With the launch of OBS AI and our strategic Agenda 2030, we are investing in the next generation of intelligent business software, helping businesses become more efficient, more connected and better prepared for tomorrow.
