Community Resource Center

The Community Resource Center (CRC) in Nashville is a nonprofit organization that needed a cost-efficient solution to manage its operations. Previously, the team relied entirely on Excel spreadsheets, which required extensive manual data entry and frequent transfers. A particular challenge was that CRC does not sell products but distributes them free of charge to partner organizations, which then deliver them to people in need. This unique workflow had to be reflected in Odoo. Part of this process involves CRC sending allocation offers to its partners, who can either confirm the quantities or adjust them according to their needs.

With Odoo, CRC found a cost-effective yet powerful way to manage both its inventory and distribution processes. We customized the standard Odoo sales workflow to fit the specific requirements of a nonprofit organization. Today, CRC sends allocation requests directly to its partners through the Odoo partner portal. Partners can adjust their requested quantities online and even book a pickup time directly from the offer. This has turned what was once a manual and fragmented workflow into a fully digitized and seamless process.
